Over the past few years, I have noticed a strange trend in weather reporting. It seems that over time, the people forecasting the weather become less and less accurate. This is strange, because the technology for monitoring this weather has become more and more accurate.
The issue is that the information being recorded by this technology is delivering information to an algorithm that estimates weather behavior. Because weather is not static, these algorithms have become less effective even with more accurate measures. Weather is changing faster than ever, and Meteorologists have not found a way to keep up with the dynamic atmosphere yet.
Time to start building a dynamic predictive model.
