The sophomore slump is a notorious hurdle in any young ballplayer’s career. Whether or not the second year is especially harder than any other is up for debate, but it wouldn’t have a name if it didn’t exist.

Here are the top five starting pitchers and top five position players of 2015’s rookie class (part statistically speaking, part my opinion), their 2015 stats, and my raw predictions for their respective sophomore years:
